Clek designed the Liing to safeguard your precious new bundle of joy with loads of safety features that exceed both - Canadian and US safety requirements. Thanks to its unique design, installation is a breeze – no matter the depth of your car seat.

Features:

Easy Installation: Clek uses their rigid-LATCH system to securely – and effortlessly - install the base of the infant car seat to your vehicle's built-in LATCH anchors. If your car is 2002 or newer, your vehicle is most likely equipped with a LATCH anchor.


Every Position: The belt tensioning system is built into the base for installing the base in center seating positions and where LATCH installation is not accessible.




Extra Protection: The Liing comes with a metal load leg on the base that helps prevent rotation and absorbs energy in case of a collision. Tests have shown that this reduces crash forces by more than 40%. Although Clek isn't the first to introduce the metal load leg,we are happy to see that this is a standard feature on the Clek Liing Infant Car Seat


The Perfect Angle: Every vehicle seat inclination varies from car model and brand. Keeping this in mind, Clek made the Liing base adaptable to most seats by offering 7 recline positions to ensure that the car seat is installed in the perfect angle every time


Stroller Ready: Whatever you do, don’t wake the baby up! You can adapt your Clek Liing to most popular strollers brands as a travel system using any maxi-cosi, cybex, and nuna adapters. Testing has been done on most brands and is compatible with the top selling stroller brands available at Kidsland!  

European Belt Path: Thanks to this design, the Clek Liing can be securely installed in a vehicle without the base - and is aircraft approved. Talk about safe travels!



SPF 100+ 3- Position Adjustable Sun Canopy: Here in Los Angeles the sun is blazing for most of the year. But no worries, Clek has you – literally – covered from harmful UV rays and elements with an almost full coverage canopy! The canopy also features a mesh peekaboo window for better airflow and visibility into the car seat so you and your baby can safely explore the world together.

Side-Impact Protection: The car seat has a 2-piece energy absorbing shell and it is lined with EPP to protect the head and body providing maximum side impact protection.

2-Stage Infant Insert Included: The insert provides proper head support and gives a snug seating position for the smallest of newborns.

Luxurious Eco Fabrics: All fabrics for the Liing are free of brominated and chlorinated flame-retardants. So you can rest easy while your little one enjoys the ride.


The Clek Liing will come out in three different fabric types:

Jersey Knit (Chrome, Carbon): A lightweight polyester-spandex blend that feels as soft as a comfy pair of pajamas. There is slight pilling on the Jersey as expected but very minimal.



C-Zero+ (Thunder): A new fluorine-free formula that's even better than the previous version! It provides protection against stains, moisture and odor-causing bacteria, it's free of brominated and chlorinated flame retardants and it's GREENGUARD Gold certified. Plus, it looks and feels great - a win-win!


100% Merino Wool (Mammoth): The luxuriously soft 100% non-mulesed Merino Wool is free of flame-retardants and is naturally temperature regulating - so it will keep your baby warm in the winter and cool in the summer. (Clek Liing in 100% Merino Wool comes with a Merino Wool sun canopy and a leather handle)
